I was born and raised in NY from birth til 20 or so.
I lived in Kansas City... for like 4 years. Their accent just sounds like nothing, there basically isn’t one. Lived in Memphis for about 2 years, and the blacks... if they were mad ghetto, I could hardly understand them. And everyone called all females Miss. I never did never adapted like that. But in Memphis I couldn’t tell if they were doing it on purpose or not... you know like brad Pitt in snatch talking pikey type shit... Been in Michigan for years and I think I’ve lost my accent, I don’t even know what I sound like now. I’d say the most obvious accents people have in the US though is like... Philly, BMore, maybe Boston and some areas of Pittsburgh.

i grew to have a noticeable signatured artist accent in my writing and my general vocals.. and its more usa then aus from all the australian peeps i know
using words like were/where angel/angle as the same |
