ive slept too much on volkan. i seen one of his last fights, i forget who it was against? quick googling shows it had to be manuwa. it was on one of the few cards i watched last year, cormier/jones 2. he looked ridiculous but word it was a 40 second ko and i was ignorant of his existence to that point.

so knowing next to nothing of him im thinking this is just another W for DC. outside of manuwa and OSP i never heard of any of his opponents.

i wish i could get back into my rampant fanboyism of UFC but the majority of the cards they put together do nothing for me

im hype for this tonight, but really only these two fights. i miss being hype for a whole card. i've tried pinning down why i've lost interest and can't really. it seems to be an assortment of things

fighters i liked getting old and washed up.

everyone being too talented. sounds like itd be a good thing but i need to see a chris leben get dismantled every once in awhile to get me hype for an anderson silva know what i mean.

all the new killers fight in technical borefests for the common fan (me) but i mean i can "appreciate" the technical aspects and have an understanding i still want them to stand and punch eachother in the face

the little dudes can bang out. but i need the higher weight classes to step it up

they need to go all out recruiting heavyweights and light heavyweights.

im a stupid enough consumer i wish that rampage/sonnen was on this card and not bellator lmao. two fat old dudes fighting past their primes. fuck it

im surprised he didn't throw up on rogan from exhaustion

the ufc needs a deeper HW division. ngannou was far from ready. if they could've built him up more this couldve been different. that said they did bring him along relatively slowly

but word. i dug the fight for what it was
