I dont follow college basketball at all, but when it was down to 8 teams, my friend was running down the list and I picked Villanova to win it all because I thought "Villanova" sounded funny.

Villanova has its own town/mailing address, but it's tiny and in the middle of Wayne, Radnor and Lower Merion. It's like 15 minutes outside Philadelphia and even has its own SEPTA station. Basically, it's where rich people who work in Philadelphia live.

It's like the Philly team for suburban people too poor to go see a professional team and too scared to drive in the city for a game
And now they're the closest to a championship of any Philadelphia area team so half of the desperate greasewads in and around the area are flocking to the most geographically close team to Philadelphia while the other just wishes those main line fucks don't end up with literally fucking EVERYTHING someone from North Philly doesn't have |
