I came in this battle expecting Para to get the easy win here, ive seen him drop really good in the past and i didnt think rhetoric could hang..what this all turned out to be was both battlers dropped some pretty bad material. Rethoric had some humor in his verse but everything was worded pretty awkward, you gotta find a way to tie everything in better yo. Para had a lot of played stuff and wording seemed to be an issue on most of his bars too. I'm actually gonna vote on who had the better concepts overall because nothing really stood out from either verse. So in that case im going with Rhetoric.

Alright here's where we hit a fundamental issue I see battles have: flipping pieces of a name and not being consistent on pronunciation. (@sn00p for some ipa demonstration). While you did the right thing for a partial name flip and went for the syllable it had a different vowel sound, you're still flipping the "pair" part of his name - in a live battle you wouldn't change your opponents name to flip it right?

rhet has all the ideas. if he can work them into stronger punches by flipping them better, i can see him elevating fast. like paradigm shift was dope wp. if u had had a slightly better connection, that woulda been lotb. para got lazy, but he still had some dope concepts. the got & hobbit lines were pretty fire tbh. & that won him the battle. he just had the hardest quotes. but like i said, rhet doesn't need to adjust much to become rly good. so props to both.

I know Paradigm from HollaFront he definitely been doing this a while but this wasn't one of his best verses, IAR's verse wasn't trash though that R Kelly line was delivered well but the word play on the Ric Flair line was niiice, y'all both had one that hit and a slight jab but I liked Paradigms more so v/ Para
