'sup, y'all. This is Sn00p bringing to you the 4th edition of the weekly
AOBL Battle League Magazine -- on time, as usual. This week's will be
slightly different than last, mainly because I didn't have the time to
write the whole mag on my own. I have a Cypher and a Finale to drop
for as well as two other tournies to run. That's why I will have some
guest writers this week. Props to @bleak, @Knucklehead, @RPK and
@Sharp Nine who took some time to help bring you this Magazine.

Last week looked pretty good. We had only 5 noshows and considering
the size of the league at the moment, that's perfectly fine. But even
with that few noshows, I still continue to weed them out. So who
knows? Maybe we will have even fewer this week. Something that did
not go as well was the voting. As you may have noticed in last week's
Voting Links thread, I will check whether you've voted. And I will stand
by my vote: People that don't vote will not get Contender Matches &
they will never have the chance to champ this league. Yes, that is
harsh, but it is necessary. So please remember to vote and please
remember to post your links. If you vote from your phone just tell me
which battles you voted on. You make it easier for all of us that way.

Hollywood vs. Muff
The votes tell otherwise, but I saw this as a pretty close battle. Muff's
wording kinda threw off his punches, so they didn't connect with the
same intensity that Holly was bringing. A few of Muff's lines were lack-
luster. He could have done a lot with his concepts, but didn't do enough
to beat Holly. Holly's closers were the dull spot in his verse, I felt like
he could have done a bit more with them.

Line of the Battle: Hollywood

I could give you a 5 year window and you couldn't even get a job cleaning one



Dominate vs. Allen Knight
Close ass battle, so close that I couldn't pick a winner by the time the
battles closed. The voters are saying that it is the 'best I've seen from
him' and the 'best dom verse I've read in a while. I am newish, and never
read many of Dom's verses, but I can tell you that he went in for this
one. Allen came correct as well, but a few of his lines were dull, notably
the 2nd half. Dom took it in style.

Knucklehead vs. RPK
RPK's concepts were there. However, he didn't use them to their full
potential. This was a close battle, tho. I've seen better drops from both,
and it came down to the misses. Knuck's misses were the better of the
two, which was the deciding factor among most voters. It was an
enjoyable read, and I felt that RPK could have pulled off an upset with
just a little more.

you're an obvious queer with the gayest of desires
usually RPKs get filled with bullets.. w/ the loads he takes the thing wouldn't even fire



Rayge vs. WRATH
Shout out to you guys for having these names and meeting each other.
I guess more shout out to Sn00p. Anyways, Rayge took this one pretty
easily. He's disappeared of late, or else I just haven't paid attention.
It would be nice to see how far he can progress, as he is getting better
quickly. WRATH has the idea of a battle verse, he just needs practice
and fine tuning. I know practice is a demeaning word to some, but I
mean no offence. You will get better if you keep at it.

Line of the Battle: Rayge
Fronting like a thug who bust shots but u're a pussy with no undresser
When this League is the only time u're seen around a Mac and a Beretta



megatron vs. Utmost
Utmost took this one comfortably. Though tron had that cavity search
line which was roffflllzzz, he didn't have the consistency to take it. Ut
was decent, I've definitely seen better from him, but it was enough to
win the battle. The voters felt like tron rushed his verse, and didn't put
enough thought behind it. In effect, he loses.

All his drops are full of faggotry ill eat em, everything is ass in his verse

Boredom vs. Vinzr

This battle was decent, but kind of one-sided for the most part. Vinzr
seemed to have a very rushed drop, to the point where he forgot to
complete a line. If he had bothered to word some of the bars a little
better, he could have made it very even. On the other hand, Boredom
had some cool punches and dropped a fairly consistent verse. He had
the line of the battle in my opinion. If both keep at it, they could be
legitimate threats this season.
