phil says he dont think hed fit the tracks personna atm. so im gonna tear this down and upload a completed version. prolly adlib it up and perhas upload some sound effects if i can find the right shit to doctor this.

this is the beginning of my serious attempt at becoming a better artist/producer and selling myself to the movie/music/television world through my sound. so what yall think. fuck face fageeeets

some good quickhitting rhymes which flowed cool. Conveyed the theme pretty well. Scratches were cool and added to the track.
i'm a connoisseur of rhyme-bending or slant rhymes whatever u call'um, so in audio i love things like:
(sick & tired of) relyin' on drugs / buy 'em in bulk
and
gotta keep Control like a man-or Fold like a chump/i'm a problem nobody wants

Thought this line was great:
i mean maybe it's my fault, maybe it's not. maybe it's 2pac\biggie's fault, maybe it's God's.

My knock on this would be the "strike like cobras at lunch", at end of first verse.
Get that line the hell out of there if you're re-working things.
It is just my personal opinion, but I feel very strongly about it.
Even in a brag-swag verse I think that line would be corny a.f., but Especially in this kinda track. It just does not fit in with the rest of your verse.
You could probably in 2 seconds find a better "replacement ending phrase" on that 1st verse & instantly improve the verse.

On the whole- good job, but those are my thoughts on the cobra line.

The song was structured cool from what i remember it felt you were chasing the beat in places to keep rhyme schemes going instead of naturally flowing with the schemes fitting. But word ill give better feed when i listen to it in my good headphones

Yea i just listened again its not bad, your flow, its just i dunno like the second verse i just feel like it could be shortened up, like your bars are ending a little late but i mean that could just be your style and shit. It just doesnt feel as natural as it could. But again thats just me. I like the hook. Quality is ok, what kind of mic do you use?

Someone asked what kind of work im doing.. ibthink @Vulgar did. Im still doibg waste treatment faciljty construction. Just finished building a water recycling plant at the naval academy in annapolis md and am laid off a cohe weeks inbetween projects. Were starting a similar job at fort meade md and the companies having trouble clearing permits to break ground Soon as permits r good ill be goibg bak to work. Really wNna drop 5-6 more tracks while im laid off and have time on my hands so i have something to push and work with before i lose my chance and go bak to work. I jhst need to put out good quality shit.

I see what you mean in second verse. I did actuay go a little more wordy in my bars. Especially compared to verse 1. Ill work that out. Gonna hit it after i drop her off at work and hopefully close this project out tonight. I found the a way to actually take averything and mix it seperately and then there is a master track option ti just found where i can take and redense condense and mix/master everything at the same time.. this i think will help with some of the prkblems i here when i listen to it myself.

i fou d it atva pawn shop and copped it for about fifty bucks. Its not a bsd mic.. i just know i can get better than what i have. Click the link. It shows a picture of it settup and also has some info on it. I dont know much about the different shit and how to tell mics apart or what makes one better or nat as good than another one. Its all mumbo jumbo, mY e you can make more sense of it and break it down in lamens for me whT to look for? Its basically a mic with a plug that goes directly into the computer.. usb style. I have a spit guard which isnt shown in the picture because its not part of the mic its something i got from my boy dino and just put into to use for the first time on this mic. Been using a sock previously.. i think the spitguard actually helps a lot.

But chdck that link and let me know whT you think about it it has an earphone port on it where i plug the phones into it Nd can hear the playback of the beat and my voice while im spittibg. Its pretty nice in design. Just think i need to step it up a little with better equipment.
