notice how the arch maester was talking about his book called the "The Wars After King Robert Baratheon" where he talks about how he documented everything that happened since the begining of the show. samwell mentioned it should be more poetic.
the fact that GRRM is a big fan of the Tolkien just confirms me that the show ends with samwell tarly narrating the show and he wrote the book that he called "a song of ice and fire"
