This city will always be betrayed by the weak and the desperate
These proud few hang on every word like it's not a round noose

Pronouns who stockpile rooms and climb mountains for pay

Dreams are nightmares in a way, a place you're damned to hide in

A phantom hybrid; Random violence preys on the man who binds it

The location you once swam to admire, in tandem perspiring...
Like candlelight wicks, drooling with every gland of saliva
