I quit a good paying retail job without thinking much about it to make video games and couldn’t be happier a year later. It’s tough to struggle financially and have that worry of it not working out, but imo it was tougher to pretend being content was being truly satisfied.

Tell me to fuck off if you want, as i expect, but I am also intrigued by the idea of designing video games and would like to get any idea of a starting point. Did you have any college exp before ur classes or is it something that is open to hs grads? I work on diesel engines as a trade. while it pays well, esp lately as an inspector, it's not what I love.
