He doesn't need the UFC platform to fight tho.
He can fight else where considering he's independent. Other MMA platforms would gladly take him for revenue as well as the boxing side of combat sports.
He's always got a motive tho. Already starting that buildup for him vs Khabib - build up the anticipation - bring in more money.
