Been casually looking at the market and it’s insane right now. Prices on some homes have jumped 40k overnight. I keep seeing that the rule of thumb is to put down 20%. For a reasonable home in the area it runs somewhere around 400k, so that’s $80,000 in cash we need to save up and put down at once.
