So real quick, I mean maybe you aren't and I'm being annoying by starting a dialogue and then going flat on it, but I think I know what point you were going to try to make. The problem is, this whole thread as been directed at a few people. You were one of them. You were so busy trying to solve a problem that wasn't real, that you didn't see the actual meat of the message.
Before I break it down so we can zip this up, I'm not trying to attack yours or anyone else character. I just felt if I was gonna do one of probably my last actual threads it should be catered to prove a point before the site dies. (whether that be that it literally shuts down or just teeters off to PR/UPN status, I really don't advocate shutting this down I was just being a dick)
Recall our conversations, and maybe some you skimmed I had with others yesterday into today.
I started simply throwing the net out, calling people washed up will always bring them out. Vic is the only one that had the decency to not go for it. Bags realized quickly he should have never replied. You missed the point by trying to be the main card (is that the wrestling term?) in here, and Lars wall of text unfunnied very quickly. You 4 were the main people I wanted to make a point through demonstration to, but it does apply to others like maybe Aero or the Hollandaise bois/that group chat Bags doxxing came from.
Once you were all in, and others helped move the narrative as well, I made wild claims while demeaning others. I took the stance of a seasoned boarder with a history here and has made the history what it is to an extent. I believe you and Anthony fall under this assumption. I don't think that makes you shitty people, weak people, delusional people. It's just a by product of time spent on something that has no substance. I used the longevity and trailblazing approach to target Lars and Hush. They both believe being here forever, keeping close alliances in ways that benefit them (Lars self attacked his own character attacking my stance ITT with all the tryhard fitting in metaphors) and setting trends makes them legends of some sort. I won't deny them, or you, or a lot of others that. It can be argued. It just shouldn't.

I don't want this to be any longer of a post really, but you see where I'm going. I took all of yours, and other "top" posters self-proclaimed means of netcees stardom that have been talked about in threads, podcasts, mags, etc time and time again.
I think because this place is so niche and small but mighty, the big personalities really come out. Over the years some people have fallen into fandom for these personalities, but for the most part this site has been people like bleak and uh oh in here, that either just post to post and don't care about you, or actually post less because of the circle jerk. I know Bags mentioned in like 2/4 of the podcast how he wanted to deep dive more into the culture and shit. I'm glad he didn't because his bravado would have resulted in that being a manifestation of what I'm saying here.
To reiterate; I don't think any of this makes you a shitty person. I'm not attacking you. It's simply the point being made. For the most part, this was just me taking Inno up on his trying to get me to tell him to hold my beer while I jumped off the cliff because I was snowed in on campus bored as shit. I think you've all grown. BUT, I think you all still don't fully realize that you need to let go of any successes you've had here. You're all men, some with families, passions, budding careers.
This post doesn't FULLY get my point across, and I'm sure one if not all of you will attack it and take it poorly, but just my two cents. This is a place where a niche/dying hobby is housed, it's probably on it's way out. It taught people things I'm sure, it could continue to, but it isn't that serious. It's all manufactured to some extent. It's all disingenuous to a greater extent.
I think portraying those feelings of superiority, success, etc through the vessel of a member named fucking Knucklehead as Lars points out is the perfect way to shed light on how stupid it all is.

Edit: Also, this portraying popular trends scienfically is how I won the SC. It's how I killed text for what it is now. It can be rebuilt, but Netcees text battling. The prestigious NBL. The coveted Summer Classic. It's dead. I emulated just enough of all styles, using voting and boarding tactics as well to secure a 10 win streak that got me one (possibly two if the other final ever gets voted on again) of the years best titles and killed the momentum of the league, leaving it as a shell of it's former self. I didn't do it out of spite, I did it cus why not. It was interesting, it was entertaining to use different styles and ways of writing rap disses. But it needed to be done, and it needed to be done by someone with my negative history and hated name.
