easiest solution would have been an ext til Sat 11.59pm then keep things moving imo
otherwise we're just gonna get the same thing happen next week and get caught in a vicious cycle or only have one day of voting which no one is gonna want I shouldn't imagine
maybe a vote penalty is what's needed? if you're late you start the battle -1 down, if you don't vote on a battle you'll be -1 down the following week etc
