I often recall your reaction to your roasting. Seemed almost open to criticism, saw the general tenor of the board, and reacted to it. You're a smart dude but you seem like a conformist.

well, the black/white pic was for a poetry playoffs, which I treat completely separate from topicals.. except I like to rhyme more, now

in general. i think ive been refining my style... like this is from a verse from probably October

If DJ Illwill don't get you pussy- a jog down first baselines- you're a goner, past your prime.
I mean, no doubt ^^that^^ was my style, but it did waste a shit-ton of syllables and rhymed sporadically, OM readers generally "had no idea what the fuck I was talking about". so i tried to cut down/ clarify which definitely cut 95% of the bulk out of my verses.. and was certainly inspired by some writers (like you were by say, Black), but I still develop my stuff the same way

and back when i joined i was trying to be as funny as i could, and tried to appeal to the general sense of humor here, like i do with any group of friends... maybe all that comes across as "changing to fit in"

but i dont post anything I wouldn't consider authentic, and i def don't think you can point to my writing and say "Oh this is ___'s style" or "Split took this from ___"

and i definitely don't give a fuck if I'm feed-friendly lol.
