I was thinking about a league which alternates week to week from text to topical. I dunno how many dudes can do both, so maybe it isn't practical.

Or else a tag tournament in which each team has a topical head and a text head, with votes based on the overall performance of the team, so if one dude fucks up the other dude can still save it for his team. Again, maybe not practical.
