The Bully vs. Rayge

This was a cool battle. Rayge’s verse was a little less than what I was expecting from him, some cool flips but a few corny ideas that didn’t connect. Philly was generally tight, had a few dope bars that gave him a pretty comfortable win, sweeping in votes.

anime_boners vs. Patrick

Reed just didn’t want to write.

Celph Taut vs. Alvin Karpis

Celph tried his best, but it wasn't enough. Karp came strong enough like expected and like Beyond shows no serious sign of rust. This next round will be his true test. Celph is an audio head but he did alright for a text battle, he could improve more if he wanted.

Bags vs. Meth

Dope battle. 20 lines from each that turned out to be pretty solid showings. Bags had some big hits on meth, isolation routine being the standout. Meth was pretty fresh too, his eye shadow box line was probably my favorite of the battle but Bags was pretty consistent. He picked up every vote and advances.

Beyond vs. Evolve
Another 20 line battle that was hugely consistent from both sides. Evolve, who stepped in as a replacement for sik, but didn't seem to be nearly as rusty as I was expecting. His blue tac, sympathy wink and blood initiation lines were killer while bey was just solid from the start. His Jason Kidd, moonstone and pacemaker lines were all dope and helped him to take all but 1 vote.

Sharp Nine vs. Aero

Aero apparently didn’t want it and declared me winner.

Allen Knight vs. Camp Bell

Pretty one sided. Camp’s verses read pretty cleanly, all he really needs to do is work out his concepts and he’ll be pretty strong imo. For now tho, he had nothing really. AK didn’t really bring much, but he didn’t have to this time and ended up taking it with some basic hits.

ill nik-A vs. Serious

Pretty one-sided. Serious aka Storyteller can have some alright ideas, but his wording can be an issue at times. Edge of glory was a cool concept that didn’t do all it could. Nik did his thing, some killer ideas and wording throughout that gave him an easy win.

MAINESPITZ vs. Dominate

Another one sided one. Atomic’s been doing well in the BA largely thanks to wording, but his concepts aren’t enough to do much damage compared to real competition right now. Dom came with a pretty strong verse, some dope ideas like Tuscany Day and Whisker Away. He took it easily.

Untold vs. Orc

Nice battle. Orc came with pretty slick concepts and smooth wording, O pair and poison ivy costume were killer. Untold did pretty well, his Newark bar was bonkers, but he had a few bars that were awkward in wording/execution. Orc managed to sweep with a more consistent showing.

Strikta vs. Utmost

Another cool one with an experienced head against an up-and-comer. Utmost had a pretty nice showing and used his ammo well like he did with his cook up and excuse idea, but strik just did his thing and had some pretty fresh flips, standouts were sweet nothings and road less traveled. Strik swept in votes.

God of War vs. Split Eight

Split apparently needs at least a month to craft each bar to perfection, and thinking GoW would noshow, he wrote nothing.

John Hensley vs. Defiant

Hens No showed :(

Hush vs. Karaoke

Hush No showed :'( Karaoke likes men.

Joe Metts vs. Shank Sinatra

This one got out of hand lol. Shank kinda fell into the trap of using mostly fat jokes on Metts, so his verse was fairly bland. Metts on the other hand just keyed his verse up and was about as inconsistent. It ended up being 3-1 Metts, generally giving him lotb for that Andy Kaufmann line.

Cashius vs. Arch.

This was pretty cool, Arch still a little rusty but it didn’t seem to have a huge impact on his verse. He had some cool ideas like karate movie dubs and silent bob. But Cash brought some generally solid stuff, the arrested development line being a huge standout. He took all but one vote and advances.
