...Mate?
Every chance has been ruined - that's done,
'cause if she knew what movement maybe
she'd have one. She's slaving so damn much
that it takes a toll on her plans, but she
keeps going in hopes of knowing why her
heart is blinded when she's so close to
finding a way to escape without a tragic fate.
There's no laughter greater in victory and
no greater history than the game in itself.
The shine of her throne glistens and every night she's alone
Trying to grow fond of a mission while every knight is a drone
With the plight that she's known, she assumes the position
It's her place to brew competition in the cruelest conditions
A pawn wishes to visit her without knowing the power in leer
And as she nears he quakes there as every hour brings fear
It's sour in here, the wrath of a lady that never speaks loudly
Will present the past and ruin your future in a blink, proudly
The ink on her cardboard base is decoration on a warground
Every nation's at war and the racist game is on a board now
And she's shown she will make you regret it...prior to trying
This isn't reel, but it's not hollywood - this tiger's for striking
It's a bad mistake, such a classic trait
the way the magic breaks down a game in
more ways than one. She's portrayed as sun,
but her radiance, once blackened, happens to
ruin the fun as if to prove that it's done and over.
The board is sober, but in a drunken state we
know the order and the rules don't apply to
her majesty as she moves where she'd like
in capacity with squares and that is seen as fair.
Such an epic persona is never in question with those that
Know more and show it, so she hopes status holds back
With no need of it, she goes to her bishop to pray and hide
While she quickly takes her life in stride to display a fight
Everyday brings blight, nobody hits faster or looks to scower
When she hooks to power, it'll breach the rooks and towers
Whether they drain forever, today holds the strangest weather
Nothing, but showers are left as sky and lady rain together
It's chaos, plain and simple, death covers a checkered flat
Expect to have no chance when life comes to collect stats
There's one last move - and such will can't be saving the dame
This queen couldn't find a mate until she was playing the game
A beauitful disaster is usually faster than
the way this mutiny has cast it's shadow
over the gallows of every free man's mantle.
She wanted to love, but never could, and
instead of good, came evil from every nook
and niche in her shook mind. I guess, it's
sane and safe to say, she was also bored,
but all aboard the train of life cause it's
moving and she can't afford to miss it again.
Check...Mate!
