Man, it’s been over a decade since I had a text battle or even voted on one, so imagine how wild this feels—it’s like I just got out of prison. The whole world of text battling has completely changed. We’ve gone from battling people to battling bots. Crazy times.
That said, it’s obvious A.I. is still in its early stages when it comes to rhythm, rhymes, and flow. It doesn’t quite grasp multis, emphasis, or inflection yet. The schemes feel one-dimensional and basic, the flow is flat, and the punches are pretty generic. Solid effort, though. I’m sure with more interactions, it’ll get better—probably within the next year or two.
Anyway, clear win for Saint. Clean sweep. Great technical skills with a nice mix of cleverness and flair.
Best line: “If we square up & Boombox he'll go 'over the shoulder' more than 80s trends.”
