Back to the original topic, there was actually a study that shows the most optimal age to learn a new language is by 10 years old. So if you learn a language before 10, you’re not as likely to have an accent. If you learn a language after the age of 10, you’re going to have a harder time recognizing some of the nuances of the language, and you’re destined to have an accent.
