I haven't lived with my parents since 17 years old and I just turned 35. When I went to prison my girlfriend had SOME of my stuff, but almost nothing. I'm coming out with like a few pairs of old underwear and some old shit. My parents as well, think I've got like... HS yearbooks or my trophies stored away somewhere. Fuck no.

My parents got divorced when I was 14, my mom moved to chicago. My dad stayed until we all graduated HS and moved upstate. My mom now lives in Florida... at best there might be a few photo albums that one of them held onto. Other than that it was all on me, and tons of things got lost along the way because I wasn't steady eddie.

Always envied peoples who's parents stayed together and like... at 35 you could go back to your child home and its still there. Or even if not both of your parents were steady and got divorced and moved somewhere its 2 solid house holds.... well that wasn't my circumstances.
