[Objective]

I was never a smooth operator until the second half of high school. I had that white nerd long hair phase at the end of tenth grade, wanting to stick out despite not being a metal head, I hated the whole "Albanian gangsta skater vibe" I let off without it. Anyways This super cute goth girl came up to me on my way to the bus after school one day. She had a well thought out style going, tasteful piercings in her nose and all that. She told me I had a really nice hair. If she could touch it.

I looked around, no one around so didn't seem like a set up. Instead of saying something nice, or: if you visit me at home you can touch it as long as you want, nope. Not me. I told her: no, I hate it, I'm going to cut it next week anyways, thanks tho. And proceeded to walk faster than she did. Dumb fuck me thought: "hah, got her there!"

A week later I had cut it, and I saw her again in the halls. We locked eyes and I nodded to her with a sly smile. The amount of disappointment and defeat in her eyes with a half grin back before she just looked away said everything: I fucked up.

I still remember her facial expression, I think I broke her confidence a bit. She let herself out there and I shitted all over it, lol
