Agreed for the most part but you’ve got to applaud him for being able to stay relevant, he’s adapted multiple times whether it be Relapse or Kamikaze this man just refuses to go away and always stays relevant that in itself deserves praise. The Eminem that first came out in the 90s is a whole different person than current Eminem, if he had kept his sound the same he would have fell into obscurity as so many others have tbh so I don’t hate him for changing his sound and I was thoroughly impressed by Music to be Murdered By. This is his first project I genuinely liked since Recovery. He took the whole sound of today’s mainstream hip hop and actually has dope lyrics to pair with it, it’s been impressive whether you’re a fan of it or not. Who else is still relevant from the era that Em came from?
