just get something like a Audio-Technica AT2020, and a cheapo interface. the focusrite is solid tho and only 150 bucks.

i've had the shure stage mic, i had a shure condensor mic too that was like 400 bucks. the audio technica was better than them both lol. at least for just recording clean vocals in an untreated room doing rap stuff with rap friends
