This one is a tough battle for me to judge. Username has traditional simplistic setup/punchline wording that, in my opinion, take away from total overall impact of the actual punch. Nothing was worded bad in his verse, but bars that could’ve been dope kinda fell short for me due to the generic simplicity of them. Coop also has some pretty good wording, except his wording has a bit more impact than Usernames. Coops issue is that he may be a bit out of touch with what’s played and what’s not. He had a couple of good bars, but even those weren’t super fresh concepts. Also had 4 misses for such played concepts that you just can’t overlook. Close here but I have Username taking it for fresher concepts.
