To defend coop's point here, Fresco spit those bars against The Saurus, who's also suburban white, soft, and a rap purist. He'll respect Fresco and shut up during his round and he won't make Fresco look bad. That same approach would NOT have worked against a street battler that wanted to bully him.
That being said, that fresco performance vs The Saurus and his performance against QP are two of my favorites. If he went on URL with the right opponent (someone like DNA) fresco would probably destroy in front of their crowd using gun bars using the same style.
I personally don't find any issues with gun bars, if the bar is hot it's hot. If you spit it in front of a live crowd, they'd feel the same way. When nerdy white dudes like carter deems spit gun bars, the crowd usually goes even harder. It doesn't matter if it's a URL crowd or a KOTD crowd. 90% of the shit people say isn't real. Most of yall aren't fucking your opponent's girl, most of them won't scrap, but if we get rid of all those bars you might as well just stick to doing all pic battles. You can't just rely on personals because some people have practically no personal info about themselves and other people have their whole biography online. I’m not interested in seeing battle rapper A doing nothing but nameflips everyone else has done against battle rapper B who went to his Facebook and found out his opponents mom had a herpes flare up in 1992 after sitting on a public toilet in McDonalds
also claiming that old rednecks don't have guns is a huge miss. The majority of NRA def. aren't black
