Yo, there's a balance to the first shit you said and the second thing as well. A small chat at the queue to the toilet/bar/outside or while smoking works as well. Keep it brief, casual and go back to your friends like it never happened. If she sees you again she's more likely to hit you up. Has worked for me a couple of times.
