Nas never stopped having access to good instrumentals, he just stopped picking good shit. Songs like Dr. Knockboot and Big Girl is 100% Nas fault. Also, anything Nas tried to sing on was cringeworthy. Same goes for Jay but his catalog is so enormous and praised that those songs fall by the wayside.
