it is a coronavirus. coronaviruses are colds. you get a runny nose, sore throat, and congestion of the sinuses. in severe cases you get a fever as well, maybe bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.
it is very literally a cold. just a new strain we haven't built herd immunity to yet.
