I know you're probably just trolling but ye, I'll give some pointers and move out of this convo to fuel some gasoline on the fire.

Prep work, exams need to be corrected, work related courses to train teachers keeps teachers away from school, go over school material for the next semester/year, + a few other shit = spring/fall break etc. Those not doing that gotta stay extra extra late to get back on track. Those that use spring breaks etc. really well only has to stay a little bit late to prepare for the next day to get back on track. There's not enough time for a teacher to get done with everything, and you damn sure snotty lil kids gonna make schedules n shit change. Parents and people like you as well.
