that happened in the middle of negotiations. two people ran to the press prematurely for some reason. but the workers were unionized, and they could negotiate. the only presidential campaign to ever do that. that's a good thing. they negotiated, it was over.

the only reason anyone got under 15 is because when you work for a campaign you usually work a lot of extra hours.

bernie's lowest level employees were getting 3k a month flat salary. but when you're in a position where you have to drive around a lot, work weekends, hours add up.

anyways they reached an agreement and now you can't find a field position on his team for less than 3500/month salary or 15/hr

last year i got 5k for a 3 week job directing a field operation for governor of nevada but i was working 12-16 hrs a day every single day, probably broke down to $10 an hr but uh... u know, a 5k check at the end was amazing pay for me and it was a dope experience
