i think you're mostly right in the beginning. but i def have convinced trump voters to switch to bernie dozens of times. the 'i hate the dem party' types.
and like i said somewhere earlier economic populism resonates with the right. higher wages is something a high majority of republicans support, something like a third of them support $15. nobody fighting harder for that then bernie
but tulsi and bernie also overlap on environmental policies, universal healthcare, tuition free college. she's not quite as bold, but closer to bernie then basically any other dem
