alright i read it.
tbh i havn't been following the 'trial'...in fact idk if its a 'congressional hearing,' 'court martial,' or 'criminal trial?' Which all pose diff limitations as to what and how evidence is presented...but to ignore prior 'war precidents' like neuremburg n geneva is totally absurd no matter what type of court imo...but i agree with the article for the most part, they are prosecuting the wrong person/people, for all the wrong reasons...but intent rarely matters (cept w murder cases) in court... and bc the repercussions of said act could be so extreme its easy to place him as a scapegoat to advert public attention to other attrocities of war, and stiffle other 'whistle-blowers.' I stand by my previous quick summation/predicition though..the CHECKS outweigh the BALANCES, now a days. Moreover, that 'espionage act' can lead to a further direct intrusion into privacy...but tbh i figured they been doin sht like that for yrs...with like 'flag words' and stuff...that line btw privacy/protection just keeps gettin thinner tho.. @
Vulgar.

namix...the use of propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation is and always has been crucial in war...Hitler understood that, which is how he rallied up so many, so fast...'if you tell a lie big enough, frequently enough, it will be believed...he who owns the youth, owns the future'...propaganda has a direct impact on mass public perception...which in turn affects outlook toward the gov't...so just thru the control of information, you can basically turn something thats a blantent lie into a widespread truth to those who percieve it as real...
