haha, its funny cuz its true -- even at my expense lol. Definitely ignore the art of brevity on my end far too often.
In my professional opinion:
- I am glad you brought up the duality of this, because it may be easy to overlook. Sometimes whistleblowers are trying to be altruistic, but the duality to consider is the fact that: the best way to undermine 'altruistic whistleblowers' is to allow information to be leaked DELIBERATELY at times --- ordo ab chao yo.
Flood society with half-truths so it is harder to discern what's legit and what isn't, who's altruistic and who's just playing into the design. Then use the fact that the information available to us is a bunch of half-truths, and give a 'name' to the releasers of the information and believers of the information which is derogatory, to discredit them both (whistleblowers and conspiracy theorists).
There is my somewhat briefer synopsis of how, yes even this, echos the dualistic principles of the universe which are well known by world leaders in order to manipulate and control the masses. :)
i still haven't read anything about this specifically, but someone called me yesterday to ask about it lol. I don't watch news - but i can say that tracking personal information and aggregating the data is nothing new - it's just more effective with our technological advancements. Whether it is good or bad depends who does what with it --- in my industry, you're going to get banner advertisements eitherway, we might as well make them a bit more relevant to you based on the sites you've been to and the demographic you are in based on all of your social network information we accumulate :)
