catch me ridin on an arc of lightning
striking deep within a murky sea
grounded to the Earth's pulse like a fossil of a human being
our path left imprints sinking deeper as they rose to shore
blinking for a moment left pieces missing that the world ignores
this puzzle gets completed near an ending only natures plans
it conjures God's from foggy peaks that reach into the souls of man
their ashen arms rip out some gills grasping toward the light of day
hallowed bones crack fingernails to scratch inscriptions in place
written tomes as rites of passage thicken than the bloody stew
we dive deep in the abyss to dine in secret seeking solitude
missiles screech in simple solid tunes to signal lines that evil draws
divide and conquering away from time to fall to rest in sodden straw
last moments let the devil boast before the time when God's disperse
there's good in every beast that walks a solemn path alone on Earth
they nurture with one teet to feed the boar before it grew it's horns
now they dance in silent harmony enlightened by the stars they form
shackles cracking wrists and ankles fall into the hungry dark
giving birth to cosmic soup we dine on in our solemn arc
