To answer your question, yes.
There are always chances of the more trained/knowledgeable being defeated.
A lot of variables play in to it. You could be not feeling 100%, coming down with the flu without feeling symptoms yet, while he’s feeling 100%. Or maybe you strain your back, legs or arms while rolling with him which would give him an advantage.
There’s always that beginners luck chance.
