Don't want to be like "I'm so broke I can't afford toothpaste." And i don't want to say "that bitch don't deserve shit!" Either. But i want the person who reads it to understand how fucked I've been the last 4 years.

Legit question. How do I say these things in a way that makes it legit without the person reading it (who will be incredibly gender biased probably) thinking I'm trying to not pay anything.

A little bit about me if you didn't know....

I spent almost 2 years at waldo pizza making under 100 a check take home. My rent was being deposited straight from my job into a bank account for my roommate who is my landlord and was my co-worker. So everything was taken care of but it still sucked not having any pocket cash. During that span she got married and now has 2 disposable incomes in her house with her husband and her both working. Even then, I was still paying almost $500 a month.

Now they want me to pay for insurance, too. And per my current employer, that would be my whole check again.

Any advice appreciated.
