The brutal honesty in the emcee’s writing and his ability to articulate it is unique. It doesn’t sound contrived.
The production of both this dude’s albums is incredible, for me. It reminds me of El-P a bit, but more industrial/metal/80s techno influenced. Definitely some Kavinsky. It’s a little uncomfortable, and that works with his content.

I agree that the content of the speech is what's relevant to the song, and before I had time to realize exactly who was speaking I was digging it. For the song it's fine but I think it reflects poorly on the artist's taste to use such a sample, and puts me in a position of presuming a lower level of quality of thought incoming.
Running through that song's album. "I Don't Care" is dope as all hell.
