I have basically the same futon you linked, it was like 150 tho off amazon and is all black. Got it for my computer room/office area

Its terrible. In all ways. Its ridiculously uncomfortable. I cant sit on it. Id rather sit on the floor. It doesnt feel bad to lay on except my head and feet hang off of it. Its like a childs bed.

Dont do it.

The futon you remember fondly was probably pretty nice origonally. 100 dollar futons are not.
