This was a good battle imo. I personally thought this would be BOTW and I wasn’t disappointed. Flow, with your verses, I think the verse as a whole is greater than the sum of each line. Every punch might not be a haymaker but you really get to be essence of battle rap and just break down your opponent line by line.
Good showing, but I will say that out of your three battles this week, this was your third best showing. Not a bad showing at all but just didn’t have the huge punches, angles, and haymakers in this one.
Body good showing as well. You had 1 or 2 misses in there but you had some heat as well including LOTB with the “change for a quid” line. I would like to see you show off your intricate pen a bit more though. You sometimes go over heads with your style which is prob why you shied away from it in this round but I personally look forward to catching those subtle little tie ins.
Overall, this is an even matchup on paper, but I think this is a bit favorable for Body because he doesn’t have too many angles on him and he can land haymakers. Flows at his best when he’s going against vets with plenty of angles to exploit. Flow did an excellent job with the angles he had but I think he slightly got outpunched by Body in this one. Good battle but I gotta edge this to Body.
