Say for instance light
Light is light
Darkness is the absence of light
Darkness cannot exist with out light
Light can exist without darkness
Apply it to god
God was the first and only eternal being outside of space and time....he created everything....and in turn created Satan.....
God is god
Satan is the absence of god
Satan cannot exist without god
God can exist without Satan
