From NCs? Haha. Nothing. To go along with the perception of me that already exists; I don't expect much in any situation, honestly. I tossed the cash prize out there to see if it might rouse some enthusiasm, but this type of tournament has always been a favorite of mine. So I had personal interest in seeing it play out.
I know a mag would have
maaaaaybe helped, but again it's just not high on my priority list and I'm a shameless procrastinator. Ah well. I was looking forward to writing lengthy reviews of the battles and having the results based on a handful of anonymous judges all released with a mag. Before I saw interest I wasn't prepared to invest that much time.
I'm not going to hold people's hands to get them to show for a cash prize tournament. We're mostly adults. At the same time I don't begrudge anyone not showing. My show rate to battles is probably 10% in the last 5 years.
