i dropped out cuz it was the cool thing to do. i got my ged as well but have no idea where it is. i just wrote GED on applications. so don't even bother getting it. you could just write you graduated on apps too no one checks that shit.

get an apprenticeship or just get a job doing man shit. if i was you at 18, i'd put an app in at every body shop you can get to and just let them know you're willing to learn. you'll just be the shop monkey for awhile, mostly doing grunt work and sweeping up, but you'll learn as you go and figure out which direction you wanna go, whether bodywork/paintwork or whatever.

you need 0 knowledge. you don't need to care about cars. all that shit just gets in the way.

but every job is like that. i only mention body shops cuz its what i do. but everything is the same. carpentry, masonry, whatever. just go in willing to learn and keep capitolizing as you build your skillset
