told to accept his plans and left for damned,
at second glance, i suspect a scam
a deceptive sham
just to control and curb us, for the soul purpose of reprimand
there's no overseer,
destiny's known to veer, and prone to control your fears,
so what happens when everything you're holding dear and have known appear as so sincere get exposed as smoke and mirrors?
i ask now, cause the moment's near
uphold the pledge and pose a threat,
or fold for dead with no regrets,
i know the ledge, behold the depths,
still find myself jumping to conclusions over edge
just to hold the thread of the smallest shred of my soul thats left
to ensure that composure's kept
its said resistance is futile, but existence is brutal
and i cant be content with a life spent playing the fence as if neutral
its either be revered here as a leader of peers and a legend found on level ground,
or heavenbound for your peers to forget about
