Stay wise Stockton is slightly better.

Although Stockton was great defensively and a wizard with assists I feel like he was never the type of player to take over games. He was always around making plays but never the focal point per say. Malone was always the go to go for that clutch shot or game changing play. Would Stockton have been as great with out Malone? I doubt it.

Nash was ac2 time league mvp. He was the Phoenix offense and literally with his play and the couching in Phoenix change the game to what it is today. Look at Houston and GS, basically the entire league.

That’s why I feel Nash trumps Stockton.
