young lebron was much more hit or miss, but that was ridiculous. i just watched it the other day again, because i was looking for old pistons/cavs vids where the pistons were basically assaulting him. them the wizards, and maybe the pacers? i forget but it might have been after that year. but basically i was looking for vids on how he used to be tackled and smacked in the face everytime he drove to the hoop because he would power through normal fouls and lay it in anyways. so now when he oversells little ticky tack fouls its a learned behaviour because he wouldn't get calls because it looked like he wasn't fouled when he was.
but word he had the last 25 points for the cavs in that game, from the 4th quarter, into two overtimes. and last 29 of their 30 points. with a supporting cast of varejao donnell marshall, larry hughes, and zydrunas ilgauskus. he single handedly took on billups, rip hamilton, rasheed wallace, taysean prince, i think ben wallace left the year before but still a ridiculous pistons squad at the time
technically had the game winner in game 3 of that series too, just happened with 5.2 seconds left so they don't count that in stats i guess. but word the 25 point performance was game 5.
THAT WAS 11 YEARS AGO
