..i been sleepin on dude. I find myself doing this a lot and i think ive been judging books by thier covers to much over the last decade. I see how these kids floss and what goofy ass names they adopt and i alrdy got them marked as lame wack muh fuckaz. See thats where i been wrong. Just peeped this new interview troy ave did with charlemaine and it made me check him on youtube. Saw and album titled "nupac" so naturally i said ok thats bold. Lemme peep this. To my surprise the kids talking bout real shit. Hes 100% independant. Meaning he makes all his moves and gets 95% of his money. So as he states in his interview.. That means he gets as much off a record selling 4500 copies as a someone signed to a label would get going platinum cause they only pull 15% of sales plus have to pay for some other shit sometimes. Anyway this got me curious.. I checked him out and he aint the most gifted spitter but hes saying real shit imo. So respect to troy ave doing his thing.
