i thought i was figuring shit out but the last episode threw me back into confusion

BUTTCHEEKS buttcheeks don't read blah blah. OK so i was thinking bernard took the code from peter abernathy and put it on himself, that was why he was all twitchy and weird. so the commando dudes taking abernathy would've led to nothing because now bernard had the code. i theorized the code was what he used to kill all the hosts. like it was some type of self destruct thing, where abernathy would survive. so this secret group could destroy all the hosts but still have one to start their own seperate operation. but obviously that didn't happen. maybe the code in abernathy is ford? since they are experimenting in immortality by uploading a humans mind to hosts? and all that shit bernard was doing was basically him securing fords mind before it could be found out and destroyed? i dunno. but yea im digging it, also maybe ford is already in a number of hosts, and thats how he communicates with the man in black/william. instead of making one host for himself he uploaded his conciousness into the matrix of all the hosts?
