The boy's just a stud. And I think with us picking up Connor Williams is going to be huge. We had ONE leak in the line last year and it showed. Once we had TWO leaks simultaneously on the left side Dak couldn't do shit. A healthy Tyron Smith is exciting because he's been struggling to stay healthy the last 2 years. If we can get a strong LG to help him stay on an island all season that will help him elongate his career as the kids getting 26-27 I can't remember, but that's definitely a long longer than most kids that age in the sense that he came into the league at 20.

DRAFT PICKS I'M EXCITED ABOUT:

LVE -

I'm super stoked about this pick. Everyone says we reached to grab him in the 1st but I trust Will McClay. If you don't know that name, he's our Director of Personnel right now. Which is starting to look a lot like GM at the moment. The amount of air space he's got in our War Room is unprecedented in the Jerry Era. So far, for the past 30 years, Jerry's had every say in every decision ever made. This is starting to change. From the last 3 drafts, we've NOT taken Johnny Manziel and we got Zach Martin instead. We did NOT draft up last year, instead we stayed pat and grabbed Taco Charlton at 15 because Marinelli wanted him. THIS YEAR?! We grab a side line to side line backer who plays EERILY similar to Sean Lee.

If you don't know Sean Lee you've never watched a Cowboys game when he's healthy. That boy is liable to go 20 tackles A GAME with at least 1,2 for loss and some pass break ups. THAT BOY JUST DON'T QUIT. If he could stay healthy, that man would be a shoe in for the HOF if he just PLAYED MORE GAMES. When Lee went down last year we lost almost every game without him. THAT JUST CAN'T HAPPEN in this league. A "Sean Lee 1.5" may not be a "Sean Lee 2.0" but I'll fucking take it. PLUS if Jaylen Smith can be healthy this year as well that's a squad. KEY WORD THO: FUCKING "HEALTH".

If those 3 players stay healthy all year, we might have the best LB corps in the league. ON PAPER that's a goddamn squad.

ON TO THE WIDE RECEIVER EVERYONE HATING US PICKING:

They say his BIGGEST STRENGTH is his route running ability. The EXACT OPPOSITE of what Dez was. Why did Dak have a hard time playing with Dez? Is it maybe because Dez just runs wherever he wants with his hand up begging for the ball even in double coverage? Yep. So let's just break this down for a half a second.

Dak hikes the ball. Good separation on the receiver. By the time he actually completes his drop count he can let loose knowing ONE receiver will ALWAYS be where the play dictates. That's HUGE for a 3rd year player. They say he's got GOOD speed and GOOD hands. If he was AVERAGE at those but GREAT running routes he could play in this league. I'll take it.

Last but not least:

Dak's back. Look at how he played the first 5 weeks of the season last year. If he plays like that all year next year, it's over.

Let's go.

Connor Williams will be a bust .. I agree with the ton of analysts that said his t rext arms wont let him play tackle and he's not strong enough to be great on the interior... BUST
