No, we just grew up because we did that decades ago, at least for me. Can't speak for anyone else. That man whore phase was long lived and retired, bro.
I got my shit together and own 2 homes, multiple cars, a street bike invest in stocks and in a very successful career at the age of 35. Currently finishing up education so I can finally achieve my P.E. In Occupational ENVIRONMENTAL Safety & Health. Just have the Safety and Health/Ergonomics and Hazardous material management Degrees. Needed the Environmental to move forward in life as I plan on starting my own business in that field which will sky rocket in to oblivion due to demand.
Once you hit your late 20's, say like after 27 - your priorities change. Obviously, you couldn't live this life growing up (With your own admittance) which I'm not faulting you - just saying is why you are late in the game at over 30 years old acting as if you are a late teen early 20's man.
