sucker punch and boots. if the sucker punch fails its grapple/slam/bite/bodyandhead shots/ripping balls whatever. if i'm losing the person will know they were in a fight
granted if the dude im fighting knows bjj my chances drop dramatically if the sucker punch fails duh
im not sure what you're trying to get across here?

this is a general discussion - not even for bjj, but for random guy in a bar vs. anyone with lengthy experience.
nobody experienced is getting caught with a sucker punch. further, almost anyone who does any kind of regular training over a period of time is not going to put themselves in a situation to get sucker punched in the first place as they know the consequences of fighting outside of the gym. it just isn't worth it. egos are stupid and your legs are the best self defense you've got. de-escalate as much as possible.
you're also overconfident in your ability to set your feet and swing as well - if you don't believe me, go to a boxing, muay thai, kickboxing, etc. gym and ask them what they think.
again - you're spouting some krav-like nonsense "oh i don't fight fair and i can throw a punch in these streets so it's a different story man you don't even know"
there are a million videos on the internet of guys with the same mindset who got proven wrong.
fair?
